Matrimony

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God's values. (Copyrighted material used with permission of Franciscan Media.)

Couples planning to be married should notify the Rectory well in advance. You will be required to have a Baptismal certificate dated within six months of the proposed date. Those baptized in foreign countries should arrange to obtain a copy within this period of time. Baptized non-Catholics are required to present some proof of their Christian Baptism.
