Solemnity of the Annunciation - Solemn Vespers & Benediction

To celebrate in a more special way the Solemnity of the Annunciation, we will be enhancing our upcoming Miraculous Medal Novena at 5:00 PM on Monday, March 25th by including, in addition to the communal praying of the Holy Rosary, the Solemn Vespers of The Annunciation and a Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. All are invited to join in this solemn expression of our universal devotion to our Most Blessed Mother!

Easter Plants & Flowers

If you are interested in donating towards our Easter plants, either as a memorial to a deceased loved one or as a gift to the Church, please use the envelopes we have placed around the Church. Please remember to put your usual Sunday envelope number on these special envelopes. Our suggested donation is $20.00, but any donation is greatly appreciated as an important support of our Parish for the Easter season!

Lenten Observances

The Lenten season this year begins with Ash Wednesday (March 6th) and ends with the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday (April 18th). Please keep in mind the following observances during this time of penance and preparation:

Abstinence: All the faithful who have reached 14 years of age are required to abstain totally from meat on Ash Wednesday, the Fridays of Lent, and Good Friday.

Fasting: All the faithful between the ages of 18 and 59 inclusive are bound to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. This practice involves limiting oneself to a single meal and avoiding food between meals. Light sustenance may also be taken on two other occasions during the day.

Girl Scout Cookie Sale

Our Parish Girl Scout troops will be selling cookies in the Academy Hall on Sunday, March 31st from 9:30AM to 1:30PM. Please stop by to pick up a box of your favorites!
